Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to support individuals and families through complex social and emotional challenges. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs, focusing on child protective services and family dynamics.
- Develop individualized care plans that address behavioral health issues, family conflicts, and safety concerns.
- Provide crisis intervention and management to stabilize urgent situations involving children or at-risk families.
- Advocate for clients within the child welfare system and coordinate with legal professionals specializing in family law.
- Offer counseling and support to children and their families to foster healthy development and positive relationships.
- Facilitate conflict management sessions aimed at resolving disputes within families or care settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare providers, educators, and legal authorities to ensure holistic support.
- Maintain detailed case documentation adhering to confidentiality standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in social work or child welfare settings.
- Knowledge of child protective services protocols, child welfare policies, and family law procedures.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavioral health support.
- Excellent conflict management abilities combined with empathetic communication skills.
- Familiarity with childcare practices, behavioral health assessments, and social work best practices.
