Clinical Therapists (AMFT, APCC, LMFT)

Heart Wide Open Wellness, a holistic wellness center located in Folsom, CA, is seeking pre-licensed registered associates (AMFT/APCC) to join our growing group practice.

We offer a dynamic environment where you can build and master your own private practicewhile being supported within a collaborative, heart-centered team. In addition to individual therapy, we host international retreats, local groups, workshops, and intensives, and partner with wellness professionals and specialty organizations, including work with veterans and first responders.

Position Details:

• Part-time to start, with opportunity to grow into full-time

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking motivated, self-driven clinicians who are passionate about holistic healing and building a private practice.

Required:

• Registered Associate Number (AMFT/APCC) or will obtain within 6 weeks
• Training in EMDR and/or Brainspotting

Preferred (Bonus):

• Advanced training in trauma or holistic modalities (Somatic Experiencing, CRM, DBT, KAP, EFT, Gottman, ACT, IFS, etc.)

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes, assessments, and treatment planning
• Provide individual therapy sessions
• Maintain documentation and clinical records
• Manage scheduling, client communication, and basic financial transactions
• Participate in collaborative care and team support

Associates should be organized, independent, and committed to their own personal and professional growth.

• Do you have training and or certifications in EMDR, Brainspotting or other trauma, somatic or holistic modalities? Please include any “non-therapy” related training as well.
• Do you have any other specialty training or certifications or areas of focus of any kind that you’d like to share?

Important Note

We are only able to hire candidates who have received or will receive their Associate Registration Number within 6 weeks, per California state requirements.

Pay: $55,298.21 - $66,595.69 per year
