We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join a dynamic outpatient behavioral health team serving individuals and families impacted by neurological and psychosocial conditions. This role is ideal for a bilingual Spanish-speaking clinician passionate about providing culturally responsive, evidence-based psychotherapy services in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Position Overview
As a Psychotherapist, you will provide high-quality therapeutic care while supporting patient engagement, clinic growth, and long-term client success. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver personalized mental health support and help improve access to care for underserved populations.
This role combines clinical excellence, patient relationship management, and community engagement to support both patient outcomes and program growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and supportive psychotherapy services using evidence-based treatment approaches
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Support patient engagement, retention, and continuity of care initiatives
- Participate in outreach and referral follow-up efforts to help grow clinic census and caseload
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with culturally diverse patient populations
- Ensure compliance with OMH, OPWDD Article 16, and Article 31 requirements and organizational policies
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of New York
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking required
- Experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient, community mental health, or behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
