2026 Summer School Adjustment Counselor- High School

Position

1 High School Level SAC

Responsibilities

Must hold an appropriate MA DESE license. Provide SEL support for students in summer programming both individually and group settings. Provide as needed crisis response support. Provide counseling hours if needed. Provide academic guidance as needed. Supervision of students during in-between minutes of programming.

Compensation

Contractual rate of $40 per hour for up to a total of 100 hours for the summer (may be less if job sharing) for a total of up to $4000.

Terms of Employment

The summer program will be held from July 6th to August 6th. Program times for students will be Monday - Thursday for 20 days for 5 hours a day. Job sharing is allowable to be determined by hiring managers. If you are interested in job sharing and have a partner educator you would like to do this with, please indicate that in your application.

Position is contingent on students enrolling in the programming offered.
