Position Overview

We’re seeking compassionate, committed individuals to join our team as Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs). In this role, you’ll work closely with children and their support circle (guardians, caseworkers, teachers, etc.), providing guidance, support, and encouragement as they navigate daily challenges. Your focus will be on building trusting relationships with youth and becoming a strong advocate for them in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and youth to support their overall well-being and development.
  • Deliver focused, goal-oriented interventions that promote stability during times of transition.
  • Document session progress clearly and accurately within 24 hours of each visit.
  • Maintain up-to-date certification in the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) or Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA), renewing annually.

  • A bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: o Psychology

o Social Work o Medicine
o Nursing
o Rehabilitation o Counseling

o Sociology
o Human Growth and Development
o Physician Assistant Studies
o Gerontology
o Special Education
o Educational Psychology
o Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Intervention

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a related field, with demonstrated success supporting children, youth, or families.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect and build trust with children and youth.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings (3–9 PM) and weekends asneeded.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in working with children and adults with diverse abilities and support needs.
  • Certified in CANS or ANSA. Compensation & Schedule
