Phoenix Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically driven Substance Use Clinician to join our growing team. This position provides individual counseling, group facilitation, assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing support to individuals receiving substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment in an outpatient setting.
We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about helping clients achieve long-term recovery while working within a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid CADC or LCADC in the state of New Jersey
- Experience working with substance use and co-occurring populations preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to facilitate therapeutic groups and maintain caseload responsibilities
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria and recovery-oriented care preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups
- Conduct assessments and participate in treatment planning
- Provide individual counseling sessions
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate with nursing, medical, case management, and leadership teams
- Support clients through all phases of treatment and recovery
