Part-Time Optician / Patient Care Coordinator –Private Optometry Practice
Downtown Anaheim Family Optometry is seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented team member to join our growing private practice. We are a modern, technology-focused office that values exceptional patient care, teamwork, and professionalism.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong customer service skills, and is looking to grow long-term within a boutique eye care setting.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with computers and technology
- Optical or private practice experience preferred
- Knowledge of vision insurance including VSP and EyeMed preferred
- Experience with Eyefinity Practice Management is a plus
- Optician experience or license is a bonus
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit
- Manage scheduling, phones, and front desk coordination
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Assist patients with frame styling and lens selections
- Take optical measurements and help with eyewear orders and adjustments
- Perform pre-testing and exam workups
- Support vision and medical billing processes
