Responsibilities
- Provide peer-led support by sharing personal recovery experiences to inspire hope and motivation.

- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral change and goal setting.
- Assist clients in navigating behavioral health services, including mental health counseling and addiction treatment programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of interactions within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Mentor clients through emotional support, skill development, and community resource connection.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to develop personalized recovery plans that reflect client needs and strengths.
Experience
- Lived experience with mental health challenges or substance use recovery is highly valued.
- Prior experience in crisis intervention or crisis management roles is preferred.
- Background in behavioral health, social work, or related fields enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques and addiction counseling methods is advantageous.
- Knowledge of EHR systems for documentation purposes is desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
