Resident in Counseling - LPC

Talk Work Heal Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking qualified and motivated individuals pursuing State Licensure as a LPC in Virginia. Individuals should be interested in working FULL-TIME while establishing a full case load for treatment for clients seeking individual and group psychotherapy.

Talk Work Heal Health & Wellness, Inc. is a privately owned outpatient community based mental health practice located in Henrico, County, VA.

Qualifications:

• A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Eligible to be approved by the board as a Resident in Counseling in Virginia.
• Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is preferred.
• Graduate or post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM under a licensed supervisor is preferred.
• Must have an unrestricted license status with the Virginia Board of Health Professions.

General Work Expectations:

• Full-time availability (35 to 40 hours/week – 25 client visits with up to 15 hours administrative time including supervisory meetings).
• Must reside within 45 minutes of the office location. Ability to work in the office for the probationary period and then will may have the ability to work a hybrid model (with continued long term employment).
• Flexibility in your work schedule.

Compensation: This is a Fee for Service position, earning potential is $50,000 - $70,000 (could vary based on # of sessions and bonus opportunities). Compensation rate during training is negotiable. Your interviewer will discuss total compensation during the interview. The length of the probationary period will be established as a part of the evaluation process of the candidate.
