Silver Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a highly engaging, self-directed clinician to provide on-site mental health and substance use services within a newly renovated, well-maintained assisted living community in Brooklyn.
This role is designed to feel more like private practice within a structured setting. Clinicians work with a consistent patient population in a clean, professional environment, with the autonomy to manage their workflow while remaining part of a collaborative team.
We are looking for someone who brings strong presence into the room, connects easily with patients, and takes initiative in building and maintaining an active caseload. This is not a passive role—success here comes from engagement, consistency, and ownership of your work.
Responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling, completing assessments and contributing to treatment planning, actively engaging residents in services, collaborating with staff, and maintaining high-quality, compliant documentation.
Candidates must hold an LMHC or LMSW and have experience in mental health or substance use treatment. Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with a team are essential.
Compensation & Structure:
Part-time day rate or fee-for-service structures are available. Compensation typically ranges from $45–$75 per session/hour based on experience, credential, and level of independence.
There is strong opportunity to expand days and increase earnings over time, with pathways to transition into a full-time role or full-time fee-for-service position.
This role offers flexibility in scheduling along with a built-in patient population, making it ideal for clinicians who are motivated, proactive, and looking to build a consistent, high-quality caseload in a professional setting.
