Your Impact Here at MBC

  • Maintains MBC training procedures and systems
    • Develop and oversee on-boarding systems and timelines
    • Create and enhance procedures and materials to promote efficient and effective training as well as best outcomes for all staff
    • Maintain didactic training content, ensuring it is up to date and aligned with current literature
    • Prepare onboarding package materials and be point of contact for all new hires
  • Conducts and facilitates training for all staff
    • Coordinate schedule of all training needs for new hires, including didactic training (e.g., lecture and roleplays), in-session training with clients, and meetings.
    • Coordinate cross-training needs for current staff, including scheduling in-session training and meetings.
    • Track and communicate training progress to staff members, scheduling, and supervisors.
    • Conduct in-person training with staff, including didactic and in-session (e.g., co-treats) across a variety of clients
    • Facilitate moving new hires through training phases (e.g., complete check-ins with new hires, meet with staff supporting training, observe training sessions, communicate training focus)
    • Conduct observations of training sessions to monitor progress and complete skill assessments; providing feedback and support as well as follow-up and additional training as needed
    • Collaborate with Case Managers on the training processes and to problem solve/provide assistance with issues that arise
    • Collaborate with scheduling and Clinical Admin on caseloads and to identify and plan for training needs
  • Assists with oversight of electronic data collection system (e.g., Central Reach) across all comprehensive and supplemental cases
    • Maintain MBC protocols and training guidelines for use of Central Reach
    • Provide oversight and training to Central Reach users (e.g., initial training, follow up, support)
    • Monitor MBC protocols for maintaining case documentation (e.g., initial book set up, documentation review, session guidelines, etc.)
    • Collaborate with Case Managers and Clinical Admin to ensure efficient, accurate, and effective use of current systems and technolog
  • Leads initiatives for on-going training and professional development of all staff
    • Collaborate with Director of Clinical Development in maintaining a calendar of training based on center needs
    • Develop training content and materials for staff development days and on-going training needs
    • Present trainings to all staff and complete follow up meetings/observations
    • Collaborate with Case Managers, Clinical Admin, and Related Service Provider to support needs of all staff throughout the year including coordination of observations, addressing concerns/questions, and clarifying expectations
    • Explain complex concepts to others, ensuring the information is relevant and checking for comprehension
  • Assists in supervising and managing ABA therapists
    • Build and maintain a professional and positive rapport with each staff member
    • Regularly observe ABA therapists and provide updates to clinical team on needs or follow up
    • Provide training and feedback to all staff related to direct care with clients, as well as each staff members’ assigned role and expectations (e.g., grapher, client assist)
    • Participate in scheduled reviews of ABA therapists (e.g., gives input on completion of duties)
    • Meet with individual graphers on an as-needed basis to provide training and support and schedules recurring group trainings/meetings with all graphers
  • Meets with Training Team on a regular basis
    • Prepare and manages agenda, including highlighting priority items, reporting on completed tasks, and following up on outstanding items
    • Maintain list of short and long term goals and projects, and participate in planning, creating timelines, and setting deadlines
    • Report concerns to Director of Clinical Development in a timely manner (e.g., staff training, parent difficulties, challenges meeting deadlines etc.)
    • Submit thorough, complete, and timely paperwork to Director of Clinical Development
  • Support ongoing needs of center
    • Serve as role model/leader within organization to ABA therapists and other providers
    • Provide coverage based on daily staffing needs (e.g., on-call responsibilities, direct service)
    • Assist with general concerns regarding facilities, scheduling, busing, etc. as needed
    • Participate in initiatives to boost and maintain morale
    • Demonstrate professional competence across situations (e.g., attendance/timeliness, communication and collaboration with others, confidentiality, navigating unexpected or challenging circumstances etc.)
    • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements

  • BCBA required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with children with Autism or PDD population using the ABA model
  • Experience with the development, training, and mentorship of staff in an ABA Setting
  • Articulate and thorough communicator who is comfortable speaking in both small and large groups
  • Must be committed to the dissemination of ABA through a caring and compassionate lens
  • Ability to retain thorough and detailed records
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor when working in the home and clinic.
