- Personal care: Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, errands, and toileting.
- Health monitoring: Observing and documenting residents' health, behavior, and physical condition, Dementia and memory loss, and reporting any changes to medical staff.
- Medication assistance: Assisting with or administering prescribed medications under the supervision of professional medical staff.
- Mobility assistance: Helping residents with physical mobility, including transfers to and from chairs, beds, or meal tables.
- Meal support: Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring nutrition and dietary needs.
- Safety and environment: Ensuring the living environment is clean, safe, and comfortable, which includes light housekeeping duties like cleaning and laundry.
- Companionship: Providing emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to residents.
- Transportation: Escorting residents to appointments, activities, or other outings.
