Overview
Star Point Counseling Center is looking for LMHC, LMFT, LCSW who are licensed with the State of Florida. This is an Independent Contract position. Retired therapists are welcome to send us your resume. You set your own schedule. and we fill in your availability with clients. We are a private practice who offers in person counseling in our office. We treat high functioning clients who choose to seek counseling.
We offer a low stress, positive family type working environment where everyone gets along. We offer administrative support, answer the phones, book appointments, handle billing and provide a nice office and equipment for you to do therapy in. All you have to do is see the clients, do your progress notes and treatment plans and get paid.
We are not an agency who requires a lot of paper work. We want you doing what you do best, treat clients for minor mental health issues. In this role, you will work closely with clients in our office, providing skills and tools to individuals and couples experiencing mental health challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health skills and tools and a commitment to providing empathetic care. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily care and monitoring of patients in an outpatient office setting.
- Facilitate therapeutic skills and tools in sessions to promote engagement and recovery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and insurance regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy & support for patients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem, couples counseling and other mental health issues.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient behavior and report any major concerns to the Founder.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- You must be licensed with The State of Florida as an LMFT, LMHC or LCSW.
- Experience treating anxiety, stress, depression, trauma & couples counseling.
- Have a friendly, positive attitude and get along with others.
- Be responsible and dedicated to seeing the clients
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
