Position: Baggage Handler (Part-Time)
Location: Kingston terminal
Hours: Part-Time with Full-Time hours available based on operational needs

Pay Rate: $18.15 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking reliable, service-focused individuals to join our team as Baggage Handlers at our Kingston terminal. This role plays a critical part in delivering a seamless passenger experience by ensuring efficient luggage handling, maintaining terminal standards, and supporting day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.

This position offers flexibility with the opportunity to work increased hours as business demands require.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload passenger luggage onto and from motorcoaches as required
  • Ensure all handled baggage complies with weight limits (maximum 50 lbs) and escalate any exceptions in line with company procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional terminal and baggage handling area
  • Provide courteous assistance to passengers, including those with accessibility needs
  • Support resolution of customer inquiries, including lost or delayed baggage concerns
  • Collaborate with dispatch, drivers, and terminal staff to ensure efficient bus departures and arrivals
  • Contribute to a positive, safety-first environment while working in a high-traffic public setting

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying
  • Capable of safely handling luggage up to 50 lbs in accordance with safety standards
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a dynamic operational environment
  • Requires manual dexterity and physical stamina
