About the Role:

Join Mental Health Pros by VABODE as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in Central VA area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team dedicated to providing exceptional mental health services.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessments and treatment planning.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to promote mental wellness.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
Engage in community outreach and education to raise mental health awareness.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in all interactions.

Requirements:

Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
Current QMHP certification or eligibility for certification in Virginia.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to client-centered care.
Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
