ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Golden Care LHCSA has been a licensed home care agency in good standing with NYS DOH since 1994. With over 30 years of experience serving Dutchess, Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam Counties, we have built a genuine reputation for quality, consistency, and innovation.
We are now expanding a unique and innovative home care service model that goes far beyond what traditional agencies offer. This is a better program. Your job is to help the right people find it.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not a traditional sales job with set hours and a fixed territory to canvass by appointment. You set your own schedule — and you will need to set it intelligently. The best conversations happen when building managers are on-site, when social workers have time to talk, and when residents are reachable. Learning those windows and showing up consistently is how you build a book of business.
We will open introductions at select housing locations to give you a head start. After that, your results depend entirely on your follow-through.
Candidates who succeed here are people who do not wait to be told what to do next.
AVAILABLE TERRITORIES
- Dutchess County — Poughkeepsie and surrounding areas
- Westchester County — Southern New York metro area
- Rockland County — Hudson Valley west bank
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify and visit referral sources, including but not limited to hospitals, nursing homes and affordable-income housing communities
- Build relationships with building managers, social workers, housing coordinators, and discharge planners
- Educate potential clients and referral sources on the advantages of our innovative program over traditional home care
- Guide eligible individuals through the onboarding process from first contact to enrolled
- Follow up consistently and proactively — without being asked
- Track your pipeline and report activity and results to leadership
WHO YOU ARE
- Comfortable and compassionate working with seniors and adults with mental health disabilities
- At ease in low-income housing environments — no hesitation, no judgment
- A natural relationship-builder who remembers names and follows through on commitments
- Self-motivated in a way most jobs do not require — you do not need a manager prompting your next move
- Organized enough to manage a multi-stop territory and an active referral pipeline
- Sales, outreach, or community health experience a plus — not required if you have the drive and the people skills
COMPENSATION
- Months 1–6: Paid stipend while you build your territory and complete program training
- Month 7 and beyond: Commission-based compensation tied to enrolled clients
- Realistic annual earning potential of $100,000 or more for motivated, consistent performers
- Schedule is entirely self-directed — results matter, not hours logged
TRAINING AND SUPPORT
- Full training on the program model, Medicaid eligibility basics, and how to communicate program value to referral sources and clients
- Introductions at select housing sites to help you get started
- Ongoing support from leadership as you develop your territory
- Golden Care has 30+ years of good standing with NYS DOH — you will be backed by a name and reputation that opens doors
