Pay Range: $70,304.00- $72,104.00

The salary range for this position is $70,304 - $72.104 per annual year for employees hired in the Central Valley, CA. The pay range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired within the Central Valley region. Aspiranet is seeking a Bilingual Child and Family Social Worker in Bakersfield, California to provide leadership within our IHBS program. In this role, you will guide a multidisciplinary Child and Family Team in delivering individualized, trauma-informed interventions directly in homes and community settings.

Position Summary

As a Bilingual Child and Family Social Worker, you will coordinate and lead Child and Family Team services to ensure individualized intervention plans are effectively developed and implemented. This role remains child-centered, family-focused, culturally responsive, and strengths-based at all times.

You will provide leadership to team members while directly supporting youth with extensive trauma histories in their homes and communities. Your work will focus on improving daily functioning, strengthening family systems, and promoting long-term safety and stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, conduct, and document assessments, screenings, and Child and Family Team meetings in homes and community settings
  • Lead development and implementation of individualized behavioral support plans
  • Inspire and guide multidisciplinary team members to execute strength-based interventions
  • Meet individually and collectively with team members for case updates and care coordination
  • Use rapport-building and motivational strategies to increase parent engagement
  • Adjust your schedule to meet families’ availability (school hours, evenings as needed)
  • Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule to provide crisis support
  • Ensure all services remain culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate for Spanish-speaking families

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, strengths-based, family-centered practice

  • On-site role in Bakersfield, CA
