Patient Care Coordinator

Asuta Health is seeking a high-performing Patient Care Coordinator to join our Ankeny team. This is not a typical front desk role. We are looking for someone who can lead the patient experience, keep the clinic running efficiently, and support both patients and the doctor throughout the day.
Our clinics specialize in advanced neuropathy care, helping patients who have often been told nothing more can be done. The Patient Care Coordinator plays a critical role in creating an exceptional patient experience and ensuring the clinic operates smoothly.
This position works closely with the doctor as part of a small, hard-working team.
Responsibilities
Clinic Operations
- Manage front desk operations and patient scheduling
- Keep the doctor on schedule and the clinic running efficiently
- Coordinate patient flow throughout the day
- Maintain organization of patient charts and documentation
Patient Experience
- Welcome and guide patients through their visit
- Communicate clearly with patients about next steps in care
- Help answer questions and address concerns
- Ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for
Clinical Support
- Assist with therapy setup and patient treatments
- Help patients through various therapy stations
- Ensure treatment areas are organized and prepared
Leadership
- Support the doctor in maintaining an efficient clinic day
- Address patient concerns professionally and confidently
- Maintain a positive, high-energy clinic environment
Ideal Candidate

Healthcare experience is helpful but not required. We value attitude, leadership, and work ethic more than previous titles.
What This Job Is NOT
This is not a passive front desk role. The right person will be actively involved in:
- patient care coordination
- clinic operations
- supporting the doctor and team
- creating a five-star patient experience
Schedule:
Full-time
Typical hours: 30–38 hrs per week
Compensation:
Hourly position with performance incentives available.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
