Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to achieve meaningful progress and independence. Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to each client's unique needs, utilizing principles of behavioral therapy and ABA techniques.
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment strategies.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, dressing, and other self-care routines to promote independence.
  • Support clients during teaching sessions, applying educational strategies aligned with special education practices to facilitate skill acquisition.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation, including care plans, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other team members to ensure consistency in care delivery.
  • Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, engagement, and trust for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect compassionately with children and their families.
  • Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt interventions based on data collection outcomes.
  • Patience, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward teaching and supporting individuals with autism.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification as an RBT or related credentials are highly desirable.
