Are you a Resident in Counseling—or new graduate pursuing residency—looking for structured mentorship and long-term clinical growth rather than a high-volume caseload model?

This is an apprenticeship-style clinical role for clinicians who want to develop into highly skilled, independent, specialty-level therapists over time. We are selective in hiring and invest deeply in clinicians committed to clinical growth and excellence.

You will work closely with me, Rebecca Kaderli, a clinical supervisor with leadership experience in statewide professional associations and a strong background in training counselors, focused on developing confident, competent clinicians. Additional clinical supervision is provided by Jessica Wade as part of a coordinated supervision model, along with ongoing training support and monthly consultation.

Compensation & Growth

• $35–$40 per clinical session to start
• $40–$45 per session once a consistent caseload of ~15 client sessions/week is established
• Long-term opportunities for increased earnings as clinical skill and caseload stability grow

Advancement is based on clinical development and caseload consistency, not time alone.

Caseload & Schedule

This role begins part-time and builds gradually. Most sessions are in-person, with limited telehealth availability.

We are currently paneled with Sentara Health Plans and continuing to expand insurance participation, so caseloads develop over time rather than immediately.

Many clinicians maintain other part-time work during the ramp-up period. We actively support caseload development and provide referrals as available.

This role prioritizes structured clinical development, fit, and long-term growth over rapid caseload assignment.
