What You’ll Do
Do you thrive at the intersection of precision, problem-solving, and collaboration in a fast-paced professional environment? As a Business Intake Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Firm’s risk management and business intake processes, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of client and matter information across the organization.
- Establish, maintain and audit ethical walls utilizing Intapp’s WallBuilder application.
- Review conflict analysis, retention letters and waivers to determine screening requirements.
- Monitor walls activity to ensure compliance and disable walls when no longer needed or appropriate.
- Create well-organized written responses for attorneys based on submitted requests.
- Collaborate with team members on new business projects, with attention to deadlines and time-sensitive issues.
- Respond to department email communications with accurate information in a timely manner.
- Contribute to process, procedure, and technology improvements in order to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
- Assist department leadership as needed.
- Be available for overtime during evening hours and weekends as needed.
- Conduct special projects as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Two to three years of experience in risk, research, reference library work, conflicts searching, or related experience is preferred.
- A desire to work in a flexible environment with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities is a must.
- The ideal candidate must interact well with people at all levels with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Compensation
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in each of the below locations. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. Compensation Range:
Chicago: $67,000 - $83,000
New York City: $67,000 - $92,000
Los Angeles: $67,000 - $92,000
Boston: $67,000 - $92,000
Washington D.C.: $67,000 - $92,000
