Are you a passionate professional dedicated to transformative mental health care? Do you believe that every individual deserves a fierce advocate during their toughest moments? If you’re ready to turn your expertise into impact, we want you on our team.

At Mid-Plains, we don’t just offer services; we create an environment of hope. As a therapist here, you will provide high-quality counseling that empowers clients to take the lead in their own recovery. We are looking for a teammate who is more than just a clinician—someone who is a tireless advocate for youth and families navigating the path to stabilization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Empower Recovery: Craft individualized treatment plans within 72 hours, helping clients map out their journey toward long-term stability.
  • Lead with Impact: Facilitate dynamic group sessions and provide one-on-one counseling that meets clients exactly where they are.
  • Bridge the Gap: Complete vital risk assessments and 24-hour youth callbacks to ensure no one falls through the cracks.
  • Collaborate & Support: Work alongside the CSU Director and case managers to provide a seamless continuum of mental health care.

Why You’re the Perfect Fit:

  • You possess strong clinical skills backed by confidence and competence.
  • You have a "whatever it takes" attitude—whether that’s answering a crisis call, transporting a client, or networking within the community.
  • You excel at building professional boundaries while maintaining deeply authentic, high-integrity relationships.

Requirements

  • Provisional License as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor (PLADC), or License as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken). Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish is desired.
