Experteer Overview As a Psychology Program Manager, you lead comprehensive mental health programs within the VA, aligning services with accreditation and policy standards. You collaborate across programs and care lines to deliver evidence-based care and program evaluation. You will guide staff, triage referrals, and maintain clinical documentation while ensuring high-quality outcomes for Veterans. Compensation / Benefits • Direct and manage the psychology program including planning, policy development, and setting goals • Coordinate with program managers across departments and negotiate service agreements • Provide clinical consultation on evidence-based practices and guidelines • Triage referrals and make treatment recommendations • Monitor services to VA guidelines and outcomes; conduct program evaluations and quality assurance • Manage clinic scheduling and maintain therapeutic relationships with Veterans • Provide leadership guidance, train staff and facilitate continuing education • Ensure timely completion of evaluations, documentation, and accreditation requirements • Support research projects and ensure charting and documentation compliance • Engage in onboarding, onboarding-related activities, and coordination with Medical Center, VISN, and VACO requirements Tasks • Full, current, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the U.S. • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA/PCSAS/CPA-accredited program (or equivalent retraining pathway) • Internship completed in APA/CPA-accredited program or equivalent board certification where applicable • Experience as a professional psychologist with program management responsibilities (GS-14 level) • Ability to organize work, set priorities, delegate, and meet deadlines • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines; ability to guide staff in using these tools • Ability to manage teams and translate goals into operational plans • Knowledge of quality assurance, performance metrics, and data-driven evaluation Key requirements • Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) • paid time off (annual leave, sick leave, holidays) • parential leave up to 12 weeks • childcare subsidy up to 25% • federal health/vision/dental insurance • traditional federal pension and 401K contributions
