Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services under the supervision of a BCBA. The RBT ensures that all interventions are delivered with fidelity, maintains accurate data collection, and supports the client’s progress toward individualized treatment goals.

Core Duties:

• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
• Follow treatment plans and BIPs as written by the BCBA
• Collect and record session data accurately and in real time
• Assist in generalization of skills across environments
• Maintain professional and ethical standards per BACB guidelines
• Participate in supervision and ongoing training

• HIPAA regulations
• Medicaid and insurance documentation requirements
• Maintain active RBT certification
• Complete required competency and supervision hours
