Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster and assist in facilitating the intellectual and social development of our K-12 students and families

  • Implement best practices in childhood and family engagement

  • Facilitate social-emotional, child development learning programs

  • Provide therapeutic interventions for students with special needs

  • Collaborate with school leaders to support children and families

  • Document efficiently using electronic health records and school-based platforms

  • Engage in data-informed, evidence-based practices

Ideal Candidates Have:
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work

  • Certified or eligible for certification in Washington DC at the LISW, or LICSW level

  • Hold or be eligible for a Social Worker certificate in Maryland and/or Washington DC (Can be applied for post-hire)

  • Certified or eligible for certification in crisis management.

  • Certified or eligible for certification in CPR/First Aide

  • Passion for working with children with diverse abilities

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
