Role Description

This is a Part-time, on-site role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). The PMHNP will provide professional mental health care through comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing medication management.

This role blends evidence-based psychiatry with advanced interventional treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and IV ketamine therapy. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, detail-oriented, and interested in practicing at the intersection of mental health, neuroplasticity, and whole-person optimization.

Compensation

  • Productivity bonus: 20 to 30 percent above collections threshold
  • Total realistic compensation

Core Responsibilities

  • Outpatient psychiatric care, including medication management and follow-up
  • Comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment planning
  • Collaborative care with physician leadership and interdisciplinary team
  • Documentation aligned with clinical quality, compliance, and best practices
  • Support patient progression into neurostimulation pathways, including TMS and IV ketamine, when clinically appropriate
  • Build and maintain a stable patient panel with strong retention and outcomes

  • Strong outpatient psychiatric foundation, evidence-based and patient-centered
  • Comfortable working with high-functioning professionals and complex presentations including anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions
  • Calm, emotionally intelligent, consistent, and reliable
  • Team-oriented, coachable, and aligned with structured clinical systems
  • Interested in innovation while maintaining clinical rigor.

Qualifications

  • Active PMHNP-BC license in NY, or ability to obtain
  • 2+ years outpatient psychiatry experience preferred, exceptional new graduates considered with structured support
  • Strong skills in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Experience in mental health nursing and patient-centered care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
  • Experience with both in-person and telehealth care is a plus.
