Empowering Integrated Care Solutions, LLC

About EICS

Empowering Integrated Care Solutions (EICS) is a multidisciplinary behavioral health organization focused on delivering integrated, evidence-based mental health services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. EICS emphasizes team-based care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative service models that bridge mental health, developmental disability, and systems-level partnerships.

The Associate Director plays a dual role combining leadership responsibilities with direct client care and serves as a key clinical leader in innovative partnerships with two academic institutions advancing new approaches to mental health care for individuals with IDD and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. This position offers opportunities to receive training in emerging models, participate in pilot planning and development, and help guide the integration of novel frameworks into real-world clinical practice.

Alongside these initiatives, the Associate Director provides administrative and clinical supervision, maintains a small caseload of high-risk behavioral health clients, and ensures high-quality, compliant service delivery across the Psychotherapy Program, Integrated Behavior Support Services (Behavior Team), and the Forensic Program.

Community Partnerships & Systems Collaboration

  • Collaborate with community partners, including the Mental Health/Developmental Disability (MH/DD) Court through the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas and other local courts as part of EICS’s forensic program, as well as County Boards of Developmental Disabilities and residential and community providers to support coordinated care and partnership initiatives
  • Serve as a clinical liaison supporting relationship-building, service alignment, and shared problem-solving across systems
  • Promote cross-system collaboration that improves access to services, continuity of care, and outcomes for individuals with IDD and co-occurring mental health diagnoses

Program Development, Innovation & Academic Partnerships

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for applied innovation initiatives developed in partnership with the University of Missouri–Kansas City LifeCourse Nexus Team, including training in Charting the LifeCourse and participation in pilot design and implementation to support mental health service delivery
  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership for EICS initiatives addressing challenging behavior and co-occurring mental health diagnoses, informed through collaborative consultation with Case Western Reserve University and the Begun Center for Violence Prevention
  • Ensure innovation and partnership activities remain clinically grounded and integrated into routine service delivery, supporting program growth through piloting new services, strengthening therapeutic practices, and incorporating emerging best practices

Core Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to licensed therapists in the Psychotherapy Program, Qualified Mental Health Specialists (QMHS) in the Forensic Program, and the Program Supervisor responsible for the Community-Based Rehabilitation Program (case management)
  • Facilitate weekly psychotherapy departmental meetings, promoting collaboration, case review, and professional development
  • Provide administrative supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) regarding performance, in collaboration with the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who provides clinical supervision to the RBTs
  • Attend weekly administrative meetings to review supervisory performance, high-risk client needs, case assignments, and program initiatives
  • Participate in weekly Behavior Team meetings, offering recommendations regarding integrated and coordinated interventions
  • Monitor and support supervisee performance using the PerformYard performance management platform to support structured reporting, supervisory review, and clinical and administrative supervision, while fostering professional growth through coaching, feedback, and skill development
  • Collaborate with agency leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, person-centered care

Direct Service Responsibilities (In-Office or Telehealth)

  • Maintain a small caseload of high-risk behavioral health clients, providing individualized, evidence-based psychotherapy, including crisis intervention, safety planning, and ongoing treatment planning
  • Complete brief initial psychiatric diagnostic screenings (approximately 20 minutes) as needed to support timely access to care and appropriate service linkage
  • Deliver direct psychotherapy services via in-office and telehealth settings, ensuring continuity of care and responsiveness to client needs
  • Complete indirect client-related activities in support of treatment, which may include care coordination, interdisciplinary team meetings, collaboration with court partners and probation officers, supervision, consultation, and required documentation
  • Meet productivity expectations of 2.5 billable hours per day, inclusive of both direct psychotherapy services and indirect client-related activities

This position reports to the Program Director

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to foster collaboration, model professional growth, and ensure compliance with agency and regulatory standards
  • Acceptable background check, driving record, and valid driver’s license
