Pay Range: $55,000-$59,500 Per Year
Description
- Join our team as a CASAC Counselor providing essential counseling services in a full-time capacity.
- This role is based in Long Island, NY, and requires onsite presence.
- The position involves working closely with patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing
- Minimum two years experience in a behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment program
- Strong ethical practices and professional boundaries
- Effective communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in crisis management and decision-making
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CASAC certification required
- LMSW/LMHC preferred
- Minimum two years in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment
- Experience in individual, group, and family counseling
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques
- Strong emotional intelligence and empathy
