Description

• Join our team as a CASAC Counselor providing essential counseling services in a full-time capacity.
• This role is based in Long Island, NY, and requires onsite presence.
• The position involves working closely with patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  
  

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing
• Minimum two years experience in a behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment program
• Strong ethical practices and professional boundaries
• Effective communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in crisis management and decision-making
  
  

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CASAC certification required
• LMSW/LMHC preferred
• Minimum two years in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment
• Experience in individual, group, and family counseling
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques
• Strong emotional intelligence and empathy
