At White Light ABA all technicians are required to complete their RBT at onboarding/training.
We support child led, play based compassion care services. You will be supervised and training by the in-person BCBA, and follow the core ethics of the BACB.
In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change. Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care tasks
- Support teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in accordance with special education strategies
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop effective behavior management strategies tailored to each client’s needs
- Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages positive interactions and promotes client independence
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence
- Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining detailed medical records
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and care plans
- Excellent teaching skills combined with patience and compassion for working with diverse populations
- Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
