Job Overview: NYC Behavior Specialists is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and provide direct care services or supervision to elementary through middle school aged children throughout the NYC area. These part-time cases offer varied and flexible schedules. The BCBA will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing individualized behavioral programs designed to foster positive growth and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the client's needs and develop personalized behavior intervention plans.
• Implement evidence-based ABA strategies and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
• Work directly with a middle school-aged client to address academic, social, and emotional development goals.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and generalization of behavioral strategies.
• Provide training and ongoing support to parents and support staff to enhance the effectiveness of interventions.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of sessions and progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Current Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA).
• Proven experience providing direct ABA services, preferably with middle school-aged children.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organizational skills for data collection and analysis.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate reliability, and maintain high ethical standards.

Schedule:

• 15 hours per week, with services provided after school to accommodate the client's schedule.
