Patient Service Coordinator (Medical Receptionist)

Position Summary

SynergenX/Low T Center is looking for a Patient Service Coordinator to join our Tyler clinic. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key part in creating a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience. You’ll support both patients and clinical staff by managing front desk operations, coordinating schedules, and ensuring accurate administrative processes.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and care
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
• Schedule appointments and handle incoming calls and inquiries
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays/payments
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
• Coordinate patient flow with clinical staff to support efficient operations
• Manage front office tasks such as scanning, faxing, and data entry
• Keep the reception area organized and compliant with clinic standards
• Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of medical office or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; EMR experience a plus)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Experience with insurance verification
• Background in specialty clinics or men’s health
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Schedule

• Full-time
• Clinic hours M 8a-5p, Tu 8a-7p, W 8a-1p, Th 7a-5p, F 8a-5p, 3 Saturdays a month 8a-12p, rotating weekdays off to keep within 40 hour workweek.
• Training may be at a Dallas Location, Travel is paid for.
