We, at Trinity Eye Associates, are a patient-centered, growth-focused optometric practice looking for a highly motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team! This is a dynamic, cross-functional role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment and enjoys both patient interaction and behind-the-scenes operations.
This position goes beyond traditional front desk responsibilities—you’ll play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting our clinical, optical, and administrative workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Patient Experience
- Greet and check in/out patients with warmth and professionalism
- Collect copays and process payments
- Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries
- Scan and manage patient documents accurately
Optical Support
- Assist patients with frame selection while optician is unavailable
- Help dispense completed glasses orders
- Support overall patient flow in the optical department
Clinical Support
- Clean and prepare exam rooms between patients
- Assist with administrative clinical tasks (faxing referrals, obtaining pre-authorizations, etc.)
- Help maintain an efficient clinic workflow
Administrative & Billing Support
- Submit vision exam claims
- Send patient statements and assist with billing follow-up
- Coordinate with remote scheduling team on patient communication
- Prepare insurance authorizations for upcoming clinic days
Operations Support
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed
- Help maintain organization and efficiency across departments
