Rome Health is seeking a Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor to work within our Behavioral Health Department. The job duties for the SOCIAL WORKER - LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC will include:Providing individual, group and/or family sessions, Providing psychotherapy, intake screenings and clinical assessmentsSafety planning and providing treatment recommendationsAssisting patients with treatment planningUtilizing evidenced based assessments and treatment approachesProviding case management, linkage and referrals as appropriateExperience/Education:Knowledge of Mental Health disorders, ability to create effective safety plans, complete suicidal/homicidal assessments and the ability to utilize various therapeutic interventions.The ability to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and provide patient centered care.Knowledge of the DSM - 5 and the ability to substantiate criteria and provide basis for SUD diagnosis.Knowledge of Professional Standards/ Canon of Ethics and OASAS 822 regulationsKnowledge of case management including availability of resources and referral processes.Ability to know the family dynamic of the cases as needed.LMSW, LCSW, OR LMHC required.Your typical week would be Monday through Friday 8-4.
