About us:

Are you ready to shape our future? Atidaynu’s goal is to help children with autism overcome their social and behavioral struggles. Each child is taught the skills that are most important to them as an individual, that will help them navigate through life and be good communicators and problem-solvers. Our program is designed for students who are diagnosed with autism and have language, social skills development, and academic needs. We provide direct social skill instruction, intensive language instruction, and academic instruction.

Responsibilities:

● You would be integral in helping to develop students’ social and life skills.

● You would work with the speech and language pathologist to develop a curriculum and integrate speech and language throughout the class day.

● All our staff (teachers, paraprofessionals, and providers) are trained in Discrete Trial Training (DTT), data collection, program design, social skills training, and positive behavior management.

● All staff attend annual training about Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Qualifications

● Master's Degree in General Education, Special Education, Social Work, Counseling, or in their BCBA program.

● New York State teaching license or certification

We take an ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) approach with our students. Please let us know in your application if you have any experience with ABA and working with children or adults with ASD.

Schedule

● Monday - Thursday 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sunday supervision once a month

● Year-round as well as for summer. We recognize the struggle of finding a summer job, although we have a short break in the summer, allowing you to recharge and prepare for the upcoming academic year.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits:
