Ascent ABA is a California-based, clinician- and family-owned provider dedicated to delivering high-quality ABA services to children with autism and related developmental disabilities. We are committed to supporting our team through training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development. This is an entry-level role within the ABA field, and we provide training to help you succeed. However, candidates must have prior experience working with children.

The responsibilities of Behavior Technicians encompass various tasks, including:

  • Implementing function-based behavior plans
  • Implementing PRT
  • Implementing BST
  • Employing intensive ABA teaching methods
  • Providing community-based instruction
  • Teaching functional life skills
  • Offering services in homes, communities, or school settings. The role may also involve physical activities like lifting, kneeling, and bending.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Ability to assist patients and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Valid US Work authorization.
  • Drivers license

Travel:

The Behavior Technician role involves fieldwork and frequent travel within the designated region to various clients. The ideal candidate should have a dependable mode of transportation. Our cases are primarily in the Inland Empire region, including Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, and Fontana.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
