  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care routines, promoting independence.
  • Implement behavior management techniques aligned with approved treatment plans to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency in care and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation, update medical records regularly, and contribute to comprehensive care plans in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Engage with children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using effective teaching strategies rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to foster learning and development. Qualifications
  • Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or in special education settings.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques, data collection methods, and behavior management strategies.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care practices, and HIPAA compliance related to medical records and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and team members.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude towards teaching and supporting clients’ growth.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions within care plans while adapting approaches as needed based on client response. Join us in creating a supportive environment where your skills can truly shine! This role provides an opportunity to impact lives positively while working alongside dedicated professionals committed to excellence in behavioral health and education.
