ABA Behavior Technician

Hope Behavior Services is a small, locally owned company that focuses on quality ABA services. Our techs receive ongoing supervision, and start at $16.90-20.00 per hour. Our company culture is one that encourages learning, communication, and respect. Successful candidates will have a background with small children and/or ABA and working with individuals with behavior challenges.

Behavior Technicians work with a wide age range of learners (from preschool to teens) in the home setting, school, and/or community utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, play skills etc. ABA Technicians work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Case Supervisors.

Currently looking for Monday-Friday availability, Spanish speaking and ASL is a plus!

Duties:

• Provide 1:1 behavior therapy to individuals in their home and/or community setting(s).
• Teach a variety of skills, using principles of ABA (communication, social, self-help, play, safety awareness).
• Follow and implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Case Supervisor and Clinical Director.
• Record and read accurate data
• Follow HIPPA confidentiality standards and maintain a professional demeanor
• Collaborate and communicate with team members and office manager
• Frequent travel throughout Tulare and Kings County

Education/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. RBT or ABAT preferred
• Morning, afternoon, evening, availability. Must be available a minimum of 15 hours per week and open to a varied schedule.
• Must pass background/fingerprint clearance and TB test.
• Reliable transportation, proof of valid drivers license, safe driving record and auto insurance.
