Overview

Louisiana Empowerment is seeking a motivated and dedicated Bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our Houston Field Staff. This role is designed for maximum impact, conducting services remotely and within the community to meet clients where they are. We are looking for a candidate ready to hit the ground running with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities

• Community-Based Case Management: Provide targeted case management services directly within the community to assist clients in accessing medical, social, and educational resources.
• Remote Clinical Support: Conduct assessments and follow-up meetings via secure remote platforms when appropriate.
• Clinical Assessments: Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessments.
• Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate clinical records in compliance with state and agency standards.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the state of Texas.
• Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Experience: Previous experience with CANS assessments and targeted case management is highly preferred.
• Mobility: Ability to conduct work in various community settings; must be available for an immediate start.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently in a remote/field-based environment.
