This position qualifies for a one-time $2,000 signing bonus, paid in two installments upon commencement of the position and after 6 months of employment (subject to change).

Education: Master of Social Work or Master of Marriage and Family Therapy required.

BBS Registration: ASW/AMFT required (Application pending considered).

Skills: Knowledge of DSM and mental illness. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relations with program and with community representatives and contractors; Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Basic computer skills.

Job Description: Provide field based or site based mental health/case management services to adults with mental health needs and co-occurring disorders. Coordinate with treatment team to provide intensive and structured services. Transport clients to appointments and drive to multiple sites. Participate, coordinate and implement cooperative arrangements and/or team conferences with various inter-disciplinary team members in the development and implementation of client's integrated treatment plan and aftercare plan. Maintain and submit billing records in a timely manner. Maintain and update client's files and documentation in accordance with Los Angeles County of Department of Mental Health guidelines. Provide after hours on call crisis response.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Legal status to work in the United States.
  • Must have own reliable transportation, valid California Driver License, and proof of automobile insurance coverage.
  • Skills: Good writing and oral (communication) skills are necessary; Strong interpersonal and social skills; Time management skills necessary
  • Abilities: Ability to have high level of attention to detail.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination required with eligible booster(s)
  • Vietnamese bilingual skills required

Comments: Preferred one year of direct service experience in a hospital or mental health setting which has an interdisciplinary team approach. AAPI bilingual capability preferred but not required.

Clinical supervision and BBS registration and licensure support provided.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,496.00 per year
