We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Field Service Coordinator to manage daily scheduling and dispatch operations. This role is critical to keeping our field team running efficiently and ensuring customers receive timely, professional service.
The ideal candidate is quick-thinking, detail-oriented, and comfortable making real-time decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and accurately document job details
Communicate with technicians to relay job details, updates, and changes
Prioritize service requests and assign jobs based on urgency and availability
Schedule and dispatch technicians throughout the day
Monitor technician routes and job progress, adjusting schedules as needed
Maintain professional communication with customers when scheduling or updating appointments
Use QuickBooks to:
- Verify customer account status
- Enter work orders and job notes
Make real-time decisions to ensure high-priority jobs are handled promptly
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a similar coordination role preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills (phone and internal team coordination)
- Comfortable using computer systems (QuickBooks experience is a plus)
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
