Overview:
Haven of Hope’s “Supporting Transitional Age Youth” (STAY) Program supports former foster youth (ages 18–20), all genders, as they transition into successful, independent adulthood. Our dedicated team provides young adults with the guidance, life skills, and support they need within a safe and secure environment.
We are currently seeking a pre-licensed master’s level therapist (ASW or AMFT) to join our team. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support a resilient and underserved population while gaining valuable clinical experience. We offer weekly clinical supervision and the position operates in a flexible hybrid capacity, combining both remote and in-person client engagement.
Responsibilities:
● Provide individual and group psychotherapy to approximately five young adults
● Maintain audit-level documentation within County EHR (Avatar)
● Oversee documentation of line staff in County EHR (Avatar)
● Attend clinical supervision and seek consultation as needed
● Participate in Clinical Meetings and required clinical trainings
● Engage clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and independent living skills
Experience:
· Licensed in California as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD, or registered as an Associate with the California BBS (AMFT, ASW, or APCC)
· Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescents and/or young adults preferred
· Solid understanding of clinical documentation requirements
· Excellent interpersonal and client engagement skills
· Willingness + ability to learn County EHR, Avatar, and ensure timely, audit-quality documentation
· Knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation and/or community mental health systems is a plus
Job Type: Part-time (7-12 hours/week)
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour (DOE)
