Here, you'll experience all the reasons why you entered such a rewarding field. Social Worker - Eating Disorders Track - Part-TimeAs a Social Worker in the eating disorders track, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide individual, family and group psychotherapy and discharge planning to adult patients with eating disorders across the lifespan. Here the patient's benefit from the latest clinical research findings and advances in the treatment of eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and related disorders. We understand that eating disorders are serious illnesses, and we also believe that recovery is possible. Experience a place where your discipline is immensely respected. As part of your role you will receive weekly expert supervision.This is a part-time(21hrs/week) position at NYP/Westchester Behavioral Health.Preferred CriteriaLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)3 to 5 years of experience in the treatment of adult psychiatric patientsExperience with eating disorders or commitment to working with this populationTraining in CBT and/or DBT evidence-based treatments for eating disorders (e.g., CBT-E, CBT-AR, FBT)Competency in individual, family and group treatment modalities and treatment techniques appropriate to an acute outpatient treatment setting Required CriteriaLicensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)Limited Permit (must supply exam date prior to start of employment)Fieldwork or previous experience in a psychiatric setting using CBT and/or DBT  evidence-based treatments.Competency in individual, family and group treatment modalities and treatment techniques appropriate to the treatment.Knowledge base of bio-psychosocial model, DSM-V diagnoses, criteria for treatment of different diagnoses, behavioral risk factors and of the impact of mental illness upon individual and family functioningKnowledge base of community and discharge planning resources and processesExperience using an electronic medical recordJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
