Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work closely with children and individuals on the autism spectrum, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support and assistance to enhance the quality of life for our clients through effective behavior management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Assist children in developing social skills and improving communication through structured activities.
• Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation is maintained.
• Collect research data on client behaviors to support ongoing assessments and treatment plans.
• Provide patient care and support during sessions, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce strategies at home and in community settings.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other behavioral health challenges.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is preferred.
• Strong skills in behavior management, patient care, and assisting individuals with special needs.
• Ability to maintain detailed medical documentation and collect research data effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, families, and team members.
