Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Full-Time | Fort Bliss, TX
Sterling Medical is seeking a qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support services at Fort Bliss, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, mission-driven environment supporting active-duty service members.
Position Details:
- Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- 8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Location: Fort Bliss, TX
- Setting: Military treatment facility / clinic environment
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
- Active, unrestricted LCSW license
- Experience:
- Master’s-level practicum OR
- Minimum 2 years of post-MSW clinical experience within the last 3 years in a clinical/treatment setting
- BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral health screenings and assessments for service members
- Evaluate service members for deployment readiness and post-deployment clearance
- Make clinical determinations regarding need for counseling, treatment, or further evaluation
- Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals as needed
- Assess high patient volumes and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with providers, leadership, and command staff while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate care and recommend appropriate follow-up services or treatment plans
- Utilize telehealth and healthcare technologies as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (within 24 hours)
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and quality assurance activities
- Adhere to DoD, DHA, MTF, CDC, and Joint Commission standards and protocols
- Complete all required training, credentialing, and timekeeping (DMHRSi)
