Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Full-Time | Fort Bliss, TX

Sterling Medical is seeking a qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support services at Fort Bliss, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, mission-driven environment supporting active-duty service members.

Position Details:

  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday
  • 8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Location: Fort Bliss, TX
  • Setting: Military treatment facility / clinic environment

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted LCSW license
  • Experience:
  • Master’s-level practicum OR
  • Minimum 2 years of post-MSW clinical experience within the last 3 years in a clinical/treatment setting
  • BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral health screenings and assessments for service members
  • Evaluate service members for deployment readiness and post-deployment clearance
  • Make clinical determinations regarding need for counseling, treatment, or further evaluation
  • Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals as needed
  • Assess high patient volumes and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with providers, leadership, and command staff while maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Coordinate care and recommend appropriate follow-up services or treatment plans
  • Utilize telehealth and healthcare technologies as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (within 24 hours)
  • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and quality assurance activities
  • Adhere to DoD, DHA, MTF, CDC, and Joint Commission standards and protocols
  • Complete all required training, credentialing, and timekeeping (DMHRSi)
