Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for new patient inquiries, providing clear information about home health services and guiding them through the intake process
• Schedule initial assessments and coordinate appointments with healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate before services commence
• Maintain organized records of patient interactions, intake forms, and communication logs in compliance with privacy regulations
• Assist with insurance authorizations and pre-authorization processes to facilitate timely service delivery
• Support administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing referral documentation

Requirements

• Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare administrative support
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
• Office experience demonstrating proficiency with Data Soft Logic (DSL)
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and team members
