Position Overview
The Account Executive / Business Development / Community Liaison plays a key role in expanding Aavi’s presence within the community by developing strong referral partnerships, increasing admissions, and maintaining long-term professional relationships.
This role is ideal for a motivated healthcare professional who enjoys community outreach, relationship-building, and business growth while supporting quality patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Growth
- Identify and develop new referral sources including physicians, clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community providers
- Expand territory presence through consistent outreach, meetings, presentations, and in-services
- Analyze market trends, referral patterns, and competitive activity
- Meet or exceed monthly admission and growth goals
- Represent Aavi Home Health Services at community and networking events
Account Executive & Referral Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with referral partners
- Educate referral sources on home health eligibility, services, and referral processes
- Maintain accurate tracking of referral activity and follow-ups
- Ensure smooth communication between referral partners, intake, and clinical teams
- Support referral-to-start-of-care conversion through timely coordination
Community Liaison Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact between Aavi and community partners
- Strengthen relationships with community organizations and healthcare providers
- Promote Aavi’s services through professional presentations and educational outreach
- Maintain a strong professional presence within the assigned territory
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with intake, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and company initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and regulatory standards
- Complete activity reports and performance tracking as required
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare sales, business development, marketing, or community outreach
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
- Basic computer skills (email, documentation, reporting)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Experience in home health, home care, or post-acute healthcare
- Existing relationships with physicians or healthcare facilities
- Bilingual candidates are a plus
