Full-Time Qualified Mental Health Professional

This posted position is for full-time employment and will perform the following duties, 37.5 hours per week.

Health Education & Aging Resource Team (HEART) QMHP provides training in the following topic areas:

• Mood disorders
• Anxiety Disorders
• PTSD
• OCD
• Hoarding
• Schizophrenia and other Psychotic Disorders
• Substance Use disorders and Issues
• Cognitive Disorders
• Personality Disorders
• Mental Health 101
• Effective Communication
• Crisis Prevention
• Suicide indicators, response and prevention

Provide marketing to all assigned agencies, facilities, faith-based communities, and organizations in Guilford County.

Provides monthly documentation of marketing, trainings, and staff development activities within mandated time frames.

Research, compose and post Facebook and newsletter articles on assigned months..

Participate in scheduled Department of Health and Human Services Division meetings, conference calls and yearly NC Statewide HEART meetings.

Attend community meetings and community health fairs on behalf of Senior Resources of Guilford.

Makes community presentation on behalf of Senior Resources of Guilford.

Collect and evaluate training attendees and managers' responses to trainings.

Perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader or Management Team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master or bachelor QMHP with degree in a human services field.

1 year experience working with older adults with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

Understanding of adult learning styles and the ability to demonstrate these styles.

Successful criminal background check.

Effective communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
