Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students in an elementary school setting. The role focuses on evaluating student needs, addressing academic and social-emotional challenges, and collaborating with educators and families to implement effective intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Diagnose learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention and support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in the Response to Intervention (RTI) process
  • Provide recommendations to support student success in academic and social settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychology endorsement – Required
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention planning skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in elementary school settings (Early Childhood through Grade 8)
  • Familiarity with RTI frameworks and school-based intervention models
