Automotive Service Shop Coordinator (Former Tech Preferred)

Nick Mayer Ford is looking for an experienced Service Shop Coordinator to lead our service shop operations and help drive efficiency, productivity, and technician success. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and takes pride in keeping the shop running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Dispatch repair orders efficiently to technicians based on skill level, workload, and SOPs
• Monitor shop flow to maximize productivity and reduce downtime
• Act as a working leader and technical resource for technicians
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to Ford standards
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and management
• Track work in progress and assist in meeting throughput and CSI goals
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional shop environment
• Support technician training, coaching, and accountability

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Shop Foreman, Dispatcher, or Lead Technician (dealership experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and diagnostics
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a technician team
• Clear communicator with a team-first mindset
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Schedule

• Full-time, consistent hours
• Monday through Friday, 7AM to 4PM
