Silver Lake Hospital of Newark, NJ is seeking to hire an experienced Clinical Psychologist with behavioral health experience to provide group therapy for adults who experience acute mental health symptoms and substance use.

Silver Lake Hospital's state-of-the-art acute inpatient dual diagnosis program provides specialized treatment for adults experiencing acute mental health symptoms and substance use disorders. POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for organizing and facilitating group therapy sessions in coordination with Social Work and the Director of Nursing. This role ensures that the activities group schedule is consistently followed and meets all regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology required.
- Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) required.
- Limited Psychology Permit preferred.
- Experience working with psychiatric and substance abuse patients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization mission, vision, values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.
- Positive interpersonal relationships, embody and patient/family centered philosophy.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others.
